Affinity Line Styles

Line Styles for Affinity 3 that transforms standard curves, lines, and shapes into decorative patterns with a live preview.

• Decorative Line Styles: Converts paths into styles such as Curvy, Wavy, Scalloped, Zig Zag, Castle, Loopy, Spiral, Bumpy, Scribbly, or Varied.
• Stroke Styling: Combines patterns with plain solid, dotted, or dashed strokes, with adjustable dash and gap lengths.
• Customization Controls: Allows real-time adjustments for pattern height, ridge count, loop sizes, roughness, and random variation seeds.
• Corner Preservation: Features a "Keep Corners" option to keep sharp corners on shapes like squares and polygons anchored and symmetrical.
• Non-Destructive Option: Includes an "Apply to a Copy" setting to create the styled result as a duplicate layer without altering the original path.

How to Use

Using Affinity Line Styles Script

1. Select your curve or shape: Select one or more lines, curves, or closed shapes. (If using text or default shape tools such as rectangles or stars, convert them first via Layer > Convert to Curves).
2. Open the script: Run Line Styles from the Affinity Scripting panel. The dialog window will open, immediately displaying a live preview of the default style.
3. Adjust settings: Choose your preferred line style and stroke type, then fine-tune parameters like Height, Ridges, or Keep Corners as needed.
4. Apply changes: Click OK to commit the styled line, or Cancel to revert the path to its original state.
